カマシア・カエルレア　 Blue Camas / Common Camas

北アメリカ原産の球根植物で、初夏に澄んだ青紫色の星形花を穂状に咲かせます。湿り気のある草原や水辺に自生し、ナチュラルガーデンやメドー植栽によく似合う植物です。

春から初夏にかけて、澄んだ青紫色の花を空へ向かって咲き上げるカマシア・カエルレア。

細く伸びた花茎に星形の花が次々と開き、自然の草原のような軽やかな景色をつくります。湿り気のある土を好み、宿根草やグラス類とも相性が良く、ナチュラルガーデンやメドーガーデンに美しく溶け込みます。

風に揺れる姿には野趣と繊細さが同居し、春から初夏への移ろいを静かに感じさせてくれる球根植物です。
