ユーパトリウム ‘ベイビージョー’は、北アメリカ原産のジョーパイウィードの園芸品種で、コンパクトにまとまる扱いやすい宿根草です。夏から初秋にかけて、やわらかなピンク色の花をふんわりと咲かせ、自然な草地のような景色をつくります。従来種よりも草丈が低く、風に揺れる姿が庭に軽やかなリズムを与えます。

湿り気のある土壌を好み、日向から半日陰まで幅広く適応します。蝶やハナアブなどの昆虫を引き寄せるため、生態系を意識したナチュラルガーデンにも適した存在です。群植することでやさしいボリュームが生まれ、季節の移ろいを感じさせる植栽に自然に溶け込みます。
